Congratulations to Casey ‘Babushka” Pruett for a dominating performance Sunday to take home the individual championship at -5. This comes off of his strong second place finish in 2016. A good sign for Chris “Passport” Stewart who was 2nd at -1 and in 3rd Robin “Scout” McKinney, who was even. A special accolade to Scout for using his throw to screw over Salad Master for long drive. That is true Gator Wanna Be behavior. Not sure what it means, but I did find it interesting that we had four others tied at +1.
As we know millions of dollars are spent every year for golfers looking to improve their game. In 2018 we may see something unprecedented, a golfer whose handicap drops 36 strokes in one year!
For the defining moment, we have a few to choose from:
- Chris Stewarts total disregard for economics and can do attitude to clear customs
- Benji
- Peter’s left handed swing resulting in his lying prone on the ground and asking where his drive went (amazingly, it was just off the green)
- Parking garage golf
Here are the results:
Fri PM – 1st Labo, Henderson, King, Saavedra 2nd Dunn, Scout, Crunch 3rd Nangle, Boynton, Higgins, Braithwaite
SAT AM – 1st Higgins(I see a trend) /Stewart 2nd Labo/Suarez 3rd Henderson/Scout
SAT PM Scramble with twists – Pruetts, Suarez, Dunn
Thanks for bringing speed golf back, Charlie. The tournament committee will be reviewing the rules of engagement for 2018. Also, thanks to Scout and Crunch for providing time keeping services
